NF Coeur d’Alene River Outing

Date: June 21-23

Host: Chris Bryant at Ken Babin’s property near Pritchard.

Check in no earlier than 1200 on Friday June 21.

Check out no later than 3pm on Sunday June 23 

Disclaimer: Please be aware that unfortunately this will not be one of the extravaganzas that Ken and his neighbor Gale have become famous for. It will be more like the traditional club fishing outing of 2023.

Limited RV sites and Tent Sites on the property.

Ken’s property is spacious but camping space will be at a premium. Therefore RV and tent sites will be assigned by order of event signup on our website. For late signups who cannot be accommodated onsite, there is camping available at area campgrounds (National Forest on line) and dispersed camp sites upriver from Pritchard . 

There will be a waiting list for on property sites if necessary.

Porta potties will be available for use by all campers. There is potable water where you can fill small containers.  

Recommended Flies: Blue winged olives, pale morning duns, brown drakes, green drakes’ size 12 to 14. Golden stones size 10-12, yellow sallies 12-14. Tan caddis 12-14. Pheasant tail and copper johns 12-14. Flashback nymphs in green and purple size 16.

Directions: : I-90 east to Idaho exit 43 (Kingston exit). At the exit stop sign take a left crossing the I-90 overpass heading north. Continue on the Coeur d’Alene River Road (stay on the main road) …some GPS have you turn off the main road) for 20.5 miles to the property on your left with the SFF sign. The address is 20505 Coeur d’Alene River Road. There will be a club banner next to the gate where you turn in. 

You’ve gone too far if you drive by the Tractor tired entrance on the right. Just drive on to the gas station and turn around. The entrance usually has a lot of bush

Group Dinner on Saturday night The club will provide hamburgers and hot dogs  Otherwise the  meal will be Potluck. Please bring whatever dish you want. No alphabet assignments.. 

Paper plates, napkins, and plastic utensils will be provided. BYOB 

ADVANCED SIGN UP REQUIRED:  Sign up is online. Go to https://spokaneflyfishers.com. Log in.  Go to “Events”. Go down the page to Coeur d’Alene river outing and click the image.  Go down to sign up form, click on the Waiver-Release link read and OK the release,  and sign up.  You are done. If you find you’re unable to come, please take your sign up off the list so some else can come to replace you
