Randall Osborne, Fisheries Biologist of our local WDFW Office recently reached out to the club for a letter of support for WDFW efforts to provide a boat ramp at Chapman Lake. According to Randall, “after a lengthy and complicated process involving working with a property owner and eventually the property estate, WDFW was forced to seek lake access via another site.
WDFW is currently working with DNR to acquire property to put in an access site (boat ramp.”) Although details have not been finalized and a comment period will soon open, SFF looks forward to working with WDFW to open and improve this valuable fishery.
